As is known, the new parliament has adopted the law on amendments to Organic Law of Georgia on "Election Code", besides several projects for constitutional amendments were initiated.
On the January 26 “New Rights Party’s” Special congress was held.Chairman of the Congress raised Mamuka Katsitadze as a candidate.
Delegates voted for Mamuka Katsitadze and he was elected as the Secretary General of the Party .

Delegates voted for Pikria Chikhradze and she was elected as the chair of the Party.

David Gamkrelidze, who resigned from the post of party chairman in October of 2012, was attending the meeting.

“New Rights Party” considers that the initiative will cause some changes in the expenditure part of the Tbilisi budget, because of administrative resources and related costs associated with growth.
